Problems of 'screen novelty' and 'screen addiction'?
Interesting article at the BBC about how how studies are revealing physiologically how extended exposure to displays, computers, phones etc are affecting young people’s brains deleteriously. ]
Reminded me of a blog post by Jamie Smith, on the iPhone-ization of our World(view) from an analysis through phenomenology. How the use of technology shapes us and changes us.
Combine those methods of phenomenology and physiology , and we get some helpful understanding of why we will watch TV for hours, instead of doing other things that are better for us.
