An exciting and timely invitation: Lead Academy #dminlgp

I'm very excited that my church, Vineyard Church Sutton have been selected to be one of 12 churches to take part in a national initiative with the Evangelical Alliance and the Lead Academy.  Here are some details about the project from the EA's site;

'The Evangelical Alliance are looking for 12 UK churches to be lead learners as we think, pray and work together to find effective ways to help Christians articulate the gospel in words and deeds in our contemporary culture.  The Evangelical Alliance is working with Lead Academy to develop an exciting programme to help bring about systemic change in the UK church. Taking 12 trailblazer churches from a range of different denominational and geographical backgrounds with varying congregation sizes and resources available to them, we hope over the next two years to work through common issues and develop realistic and measurable strategies that will significantly equip them for the next stage of their ministry.'

You can find more details of the initiateive here.  With all my church is exploring for this next stage of our growth and development, this invitation seems very timely. I'll be blogging about the training and resources that emerge from my interactions with this.
