Life with God at Lee Abbey 3-7 October 2011

I just got details of this event, looks very worthwhile.

Jesus offers life in the Kingdom of God that transforms individuals, families, communities and nations. Is he nuts? How do you get this life and how do you live it – naturally? These are the questions we’ll be asking at Lee Abbey in Devon this autumn - 3–7 October (including travel days).
In recent years, Bible Society has been working closely with Renovaré (founded by Richard Foster) to explore how to connect the Bible, the world and ourselves. From Renovaré we will explore spiritual formation and the six historic streams of the church that together reflect Jesus: contemplative, charismatic, holiness, evangelical, social justice and incarnational. From Bible Society, we will see how these work out in the world around us.
Join James Catford, Bible Society’s Group Chief Executive, and Captain Gordon Cotterill, Spiritual Programme Director at the Salvation Army's training college, for a rich and rewarding few days in glorious Devon. Together we’ll learn how the life of Jesus can become ordinary life. Book your place now by calling Freephone 0800 389 1189 - or going to  www.
