This past sunday I spoke on the theme of 'mission as a lifestyle', you can download the talk here.
Looking at Genesis 12 I suggested that:
1. The response to meeting God is to be sent into mission. Everyone is on a mission, we call it lifestyles, and we get a new one with meeting God.
2. That sending should cost us a great deal as our missional should come into conflict with the 'lifestyles' of those not on God's mission.
3. There is a blessing for us in missional lifestyle that we cannot get from any other consumer lifestyle or practice.
4. Will we explore the invitation for mission to become our 'lifestyle' and way of life with others?
