I mentioned end of last week the event with Stanley Hauerwas at Kings College London, sponsored by the SCM. SCM are the publishers of Hauerwas's new autobiographical book, 'Hannah's Child', around which this event centres.
My copy arrived over the weekend, and having skimmed, surveyed, and paused to read some bits in depth, the book is....well... stunning.
I just went to catalogue it and placed it in a very small section of my study library, 'theological memoir'. It now sits next to Augustine's Confessions.
