I just received an invite to a discussion on 13th July, for the launch of a new online resource, www.testoffaith.com.
If you are looking for some accessible resources for the science and faith debate, take a look, they look very useful
From their web site they describe themselves as being about:
There is a huge need for accessible materials on science and Christianity for churches, and others who are interested in these issues. With the Faraday Institute starting up at the beginning of 2006, this was the ideal opportunity to fill the gap.
After some initial research and development of trial materials by Ruth Bancewicz, a grant proposal was submitted to the John Templeton Foundation. This resulted in some pilot funding in February 2007, and Contrapositive came on the team, to work up a proposal for the film.
In October 2007 the project really kicked off, supported by a grant from the Templeton Foundation, and both filming and writing started. James Crocker joined in 2008, and the rest is history … The materials will be available 3 July 2009. Take a look around the website to see our work in progress.
