Sorry to plagiarize Kenneth Wolstenholme's famous 1966 World Cup quotation.
The speed and life cycle of Todd Bentley has amazed me. I blogged about him in June, after so many people were asking what I made of Lakeland.
In July he was front cover of Christianity magazine, by August the readers responses were published, and by the end of the same month it was all over.
Sad for him, his family, and for the christians who had so many hopes. When will we ever learn, and practice discernment and accountability?
I do wonder if without web 2.0 the life cycle would have been longer, and the implosion delayed. How does our emerging media fuel these processes?
