The 'reads' plugin is back and re-activated on my blog. I had to take it down, when moving my blog to a new server, due to some incompatibilities. Anyhow it's back, and you'll see it at the end of every post.
'Reads' shows the number of readers for each post. It doesn’t track RSS readers, or people who open the main page and scan a post without clicking on it.
It’s not a detailed stats provider (which I already have in the form of mint that shows me behind the scenes, who is reading my site, with what browser/RSS reader and from which part of the world etc).
The ‘reads’ plug in is more a visual feedback for people visiting the site to get some sense of which posts are generating the most interaction. Comments of course are one measure of a post, but often the most read posts, have few comments.
