Colin Gunton has been the most signifcant theologian in my studies, and doctoral work. My friend Graham McFarlane who was a student of Gunton, put me onto his work, for my research. Gunton has to be one of the pre-eminent theologians we have had in the UK. He died very suddenly aged 62 in 2003. I find that outside of the UK , and especially in the US so many theology students have never heard of him, which is a great shame.
Thanks to a tip off from Ben Myers, I see that Nate Suda (Nate is a PhD student under John Webster at Aberdeen, currently completing his dissertation on Colin Gunton’s theology) is running a blog devoted to Gunton's theology and writings.
