What makes a christian hero?

Some of you know Carl Tuttle, most of you won't. But the chances are if you every sang in a modern church a worship song you'll have sung one written by Carl. Carl began the worship that is now so well known by the Vineyard movement.

I've known Carl since I was 19, so nearly 17 years. When I had panic attacks and a nervous break down, 7 years ago, Carl found out and called, and helped me so much, as he had been through much worse.

He's a hero of mine, for his inspiration and teaching, but mostly for being there during one of the darkest times of my life.

His story is not one of retiring as a rich well known worship leader, but of immense pain and loss. He has a great web site and blog here.
